Who we are

Our Story

Zi Institute of Plastic Surgery and Dermaesthetics was founded by Dr. Lutgardo “Jun” Caparas Jr. and his wife, Dr. Maria Cynthia Caparas — two specialists who share one belief: that great care starts with truly listening to every patient. Together, they built Zi Institute as a DOH-accredited dermaesthetic clinic in Quezon City, where patients are treated not as cases, but as partners in their own care.

Dr. Lutgardo “Jun” Caparas Jr.

Plastic Surgeon

With over 20 years of experience in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, Dr. Jun is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS), and the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS).

Dr. Maria Cynthia Caparas

Dermatologist

Dr. Cynthia is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery, with residency training in Dermatology at the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society and specializes in both pathological and aesthetic dermatology.
